A few days back I had blogged about the two horse race for the Federal CTO position and picked Vivek Kundra to be the selectee. Seems like the Obama Administration agrees and will be announcing Vivek to the top position shortly, if NextGov’s report is to be believed.

It’s a dream position in my opinion. There’s a lot to fix and a lot of challenges to overcome - but this pick has an open mind and is a fire-starter. We need more like those in every Federal, State & Local Government agency across the US.
